Feather Earrings
They're kind of crazy, but if you can pull them off they're your best friend.
They are mostly a typical peacock feather, which are classy and edgy, but if you want to step it up you can. Try a sparkly peacock feather, one with plenty of sequins or beading (Just like the one to the right)
There are other bizarre feathers you can try that really don't come from any type of bird at all. There are millions of types of feather earrings so its up to you to decide how crazy you want to go.
Its also important to factor in your hair style when putting on a pair of feather earrings. It all depends on how you want to show them off. If you want your earrings to be the full focus I suggest putting your hair up, but more specially in a low messy bun. A low messy bun is great because feather earrings are casual, but fashion forward, so a tight bun will be a big contradiction. It'll seem too serious and put together for your look. A bun is good, opposed to a ponytail because a ponytail is a little bit too casual. There is one exception though. Since the feathered earring hit it's peak of popularity in the 1980's, matching it with an 80's side ponytail would be a great match.
If you do choose to leave your hair down, I suggest curling it in loose ringlets. Keeping it straight would blend in too much with the already stick straight feather. If you're a brunette using peacock feathers it'll look almost identical, so in that case keeping your hair up is your best option.
For clothing, go with a colorful top. Stay away from thick sweaters or bulky jackets. The earrings are thin and should me matched with light clothing.
That's all <3
